MC Mobility Systems is proud to announce that our company’s Vice President, Mark DiRosa, received the distinguished President’s Award at the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA) 25th Annual Conference in Daytona Beach, Florida. The President’s Award is presented to the person who has contributed the most to the National organization during the last year.
“This year, I was honored to accept the award,” Mark said. “I was very humbled.”
Mark has been involved with NMEDA for the last twenty-five years, serving as a Regional Representative and then Vice President for the last eight years. In addition to his Northern representative and VP duties, Mark has chaired many committees as well. In recent years he has served as Chairman of the Conference Committee, helping to raise over half a million dollars to support NMEDA’s programs.
A non-profit trade association of mobility equipment dealers, manufacturers, and driver rehabilitation specialists, NMEDA is dedicated to expanding opportunities for people with disabilities to drive or be transported in modified vehicles. According to CEO Dave Hubbard, the Annual Conference is the premier mobility event in North America for networking and product display. With the help of Mark, this year the conference attendance reached an all-time high of 780 attendees. Manufacture attendance also reached its all-time high with over 70 exhibitors.
Mark has been Vice President of MC Mobility since 1985, when he and Carmen Paterniti started the mobility company in Mentor, Ohio.
