Plain City, OH – It was a nice day for 14 Spinal Cord Injury patients and 36 total attendees at the SCI picnic on July 16 in Plain City, OH.
Ian Burkhart, pioneering brain stimulation with Dr. Ali Rezai, chief neurosurgeon at OSU Medical Center, was at the picnic to talk to all of the attendees about his new research.
Derek Mortland who races hand control cars at the Mid-Ohio circuit was also in attendance to talk to everyone there about racing with modified vehicles.
The crowd also included attendees from TAASC, the Adaptive Adventure Sports Club who provide adaptive equipment and facilities to enable those with physical handicaps to participate in sports like, Kayaking, Sailing, Water Skiing, Snow Skiing, Archery and Cycling.
